Bottom line

Geek Aquarium Manager is an independent, free WeChat Mini Program service for marine- and freshwater-aquarium beginners. It brings tank setup, multiple tanks, water quality, equipment, fish, marine-fish quarantine, issue self-checks, and aquarium sharing onto one record timeline. It helps users organize information, prompt checks, and review results; it does not replace diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment.

Scope

Geek Aquarium Manager is for beginners with marine aquariums, freshwater aquariums, or an interest in trying a virtual aquarium. It supports general management from setup, water quality, and quarantine through aquarium sharing. If your primary need is a spawning-and-hatch timeline for clownfish breeding, use Clownfish Hatch Logbook. When disease, quarantine, or fish-introduction decisions are involved, combine the tool with actual water quality, fish condition, and professional guidance.

Workflow

  1. Create baseline profiles for a marine aquarium, freshwater aquarium, virtual aquarium, or quarantine tank.
  2. Keep entering water-quality, equipment, livestock, and condition information rather than adding records only when a problem occurs.
  3. When quarantine is needed, use the 7/21/30-day framework to record observation; 7 days does not mean safety is confirmed.
  4. Standard tanks can generate public aquarium-sharing snapshots. Quarantine records, disease information, and user IDs should not enter public sharing.
  5. Treat tool prompts as a checklist for the next inspection, not as automatic conclusions.

Why use this approach

One common challenge in fishkeeping is scattered information: people cannot remember what they tested today, when fish were added, or when an abnormality began. Sustainable records help users review their systems rather than having a tool make promises on their behalf.

Use boundaries

Geek Aquarium Manager is for recording, organizing, and risk prompts. It does not replace disease diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment. When disease, quarantine, or fish-introduction decisions are involved, use actual water quality, fish condition, and professional guidance.
